Sparta - Karen Scheier led the Sentury 21 Gross & Jansen Sparta office in listings for the month of September, announced Heidi Hyland, broker/manager of the office. Hyland also announced that Jack Hoskins led the office in sales for the same month. Scheier will complete her seventh year in real estate this November. She was previously an elementary school teacher in Florida, where she also earned a master’s degree in library science. “ Scheier’s clients and customers benefit from her background of seeking the best answers to many questions that arise in either selling or purchasing a home,” said Hyland. “She constantly adds to her real estate knowledge and is currently a candidate for the CRS designation.” For information, visit her website at www.sussexhome.com. Hoskins is a 20-year plus veteran in real estate, with prior experience in Passaic, Morris, Warren and Sussex counties. “His background as a former councilman with building and grounds experience is a help for buyer and client assistance,” noted Hyland. Hoskins has a grown family of five and many grandchildren. He has been active as manager and league president in Little League baseball. He is a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., and is a veteran of World War II, having served as a B17 pilot with the 8th Air Force in Great Britain. He holds memberships in the Sussex County Association of Realtors and the Garden State Multiple Listing System.
