NEWTON — The annual Thomasina Golf Tournament and Dinner will take place on Wednesday, June 6 at Rolling Greens Golf Club at 214 Newton-Sparta Road, Newton. At the dinner immediately following the Thomasina golf tournament, Partnership for Social Services Family Center will honor Suzanne Stigers, the Coupons for the Community Founder, for her work in addressing the needs of the hungry in Sussex County. The last two years she has enhanced the delivery of food in many different forms — collecting coupons, and purchasing food and toiletries for those in need. Partnership for Social Services Family Center is one of the many Food Pantry recipients who receive these gifts from members of this community. All golfers and dinner participants are asked to bring one non-perishable food item to the outing. These items will be donated to Coupons for the Community, who will in turn distribute them to Sussex County food pantries. To learn more visit couponsforthecommunity.org. To register for the outing and/or dinner call 973-827-4702.
