Two from Sparta are Boston University grads

Sparta - Katie E. Kubert and Rebecca R. Sawyer, both of Sparta, received degrees from Boston University at commencement exercises in May. Kubert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in film and television; Sawyer received a Bachelor of Science degree in communication. The Boston, Mass., based university awarded academic degrees to 5,487 students in all. It is the fourth largest independent university in the United States, with an enrollment of more than 29,000 students in its 17 schools and colleges.
