Two Sparta residents elected to lead college Republicans

      SPARTA-Michael Inganamort and Marissa McGee, both of Sparta, were elected chairman and treasurer, respectively, of the Washington, DC Federation of College Republicans on Saturday, April 9.  Inganamort is a junior at American University, and McGee is a junior at George Washington University "I'm not sure this has ever happened before, where two officers of a state federation come from the same high school," said Annie Kelly, the group's incoming Executive Director. Inganamort and McGee both expressed excitement in leading the Washington, DC college Republicans next year.  One of their primary goals is trips from Washington, DC to New Jersey to assist the campaign of the Republican nominee for governor. Inganamort and McGee co-founded the Sparta Township Teenage Republicans in 2001. They are 2002 Sparta High School graduates. Inganamort also serves on the Sussex County Republican Committee representing Sparta's 12th Voting District.
