Zeglen takes first Centenary College Provost award

    Hackettstown - Maureen Zeglen, a fine arts graduate of Centenary College, received the first annual Provost Award for excellence in fine art. Dr. Bryon Grigsby, Provost and Chief Operating Officer of the college, presented the award to Zeglen at an honorary luncheon in the President’s dining room at the college on March 12, 2007. Zeglen and her husband and son were treated to lunch with faculty and administration members and some of her fellow art students. One of the artist’s recent paintings, “Emancipation”, was selected to be exhibited in the Provost offices for the upcoming year. The painting was selected at Zeglen’s thesis exhibition in the Ferry Music and Art building on campus. Zeglen is a January 2007, Summa Cum Laude graduate of Centenary. She lives in Frelinghuysen Township.
