The threat of thunderstorms brought the township summer concert indoors to the Byram Civic Center on Sunday, July 17. The second in the township's summer series featured Cameo Productions' "Gilbert and Sullivan by the Carte," which displayed the humor, music, and wit of the British team. The four professional entertainers n Jane Brendler Buchi, Jacqueline Kroschell, Ron Edwards, and Sean Barker n performed spirited selections from popular operettas, which included "The Mikado," "Ruddigore," "Patience," and "Yeoman of the Guard." The performers were accompanied by Carol Middleton of Denville, on the keyboard. The Byram series will continue Sunday, July 24, with the Mark Rust Family Music Concert at Neil Gylling Park, located on Mansfield Drive. Admission is free. (Photos by Carol Dunbar)
