The National Honor Society of Sussex County Technical School in Sparta raised $756.20 in February, which they donated to the American Heart Association. Members collected nearly $700 in a penny race, and raised the balance of the money by sponsoring a “dress-down” day and selling paper hearts on which staff and students wrote messages for all to see. Principal and Superintendent Joe Cammarata, purchased a large heart on which he wrote a special message to the staff. With Cammarata are Brittany Howell and Mary Beth Zayac. (Photo provided)
