Amity road closed

Byram-Starting this week, Amity road, between Lee Hill road and Roseville road, will be closed for road repair and paving. The road will be open only to emergency vehicles and residents living within the construction area. Through traffic will be detoured using Sparta-Stanhope road and Lackawanna Drive. Byram Township police officers are posted on both ends of the construction detour to assist the public. Officials have not announced when the road will be reopened.
