Andover announces recreational programs for the spring

    ANDOVER—The Andover Township Recreation Committee is sponsoring adult aerobics, an Easter egg hunt, and adult volleyball and basketball. The adult aerobics spring session will be 7-8 p.m., beginning Monday, March 14, and continuing Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays through June 6, at Hillside Park Hall. Cost $35 and $70 for none-residents. Participants are encouraged to bring mats, steps, balls and hand weights. Registration is limited to the first 25 applicants. The annual Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through fourth grade will be noon, Saturday, March 19, at Hillside Park. Goodie bags will be available for all children. Adult supervision is required. Adult volleyball will be held 7-9 p.m., Tuesdays, beginning March 29 through June 7, at the Long Pond School. An over-30 basketball program will be held at the Long Pond School, 7-9 p.m., Thursdays, beginning March 31 through June 9. Only those playing volleyball or basketball are permitted in the gym. Do not bring children. Players must leave the school promptly at 9 p.m. If the school is closed on the scheduled day, the program is cancelled for that evening.
