    May 27 At 11:15 p.m. the Andover Township Police Department arrested Douglas E. Sturtevant, 21, of Hackettstown and Edgardo Aponte, 41, of Independence on theft and burglary charges. While patrolling Route 206, Patrolman Eric Danielson observed a man removing items from a truck tool box on a pickup truck parked at Ray's Inn. Upon being approached by police Aponte got down from the back of the truck and ran to the side of another vehicle. Sturtevant was also observed next to the other vehicle. The owner identified the tools located in Sturtevant's vehicle as those he had stored in his pickup truck. Both Aponte and Sturtevant were taken into custody and transported back to the station for processing. Sturtevant was charged with receiving stolen property and Aponte was charged with burglary and theft. Patrolman Rod Mosner and Patrolman Steve Murrell assisted with the arrests and investigation.
