    September 22 At 2:55 a.m., the Andover Township Police arrested Donald Lee Beecher Jr., 23, of Altmar New York. Patrolman Eric Danielson responded to the Econo-Lodge located off of Route 206 in Andover Township after receiving anonymous information regarding a possible underage drinking party. Upon arrival, the patrolman Danielson observed a subject matching the description given in the complaint. Beecher was found to be wanted out of Maricopa County in Arizona. He was wanted for two counts of armed robbery, one count of conspiracy, one count of illegally conducting an enterprise, and three counts of use of wire communication facility to facilitate drug felony. Beecher was taken into custody with the assistance of the Newton and Byram police departments. He is currently lodged in the Sussex County Jail awaiting extradition back to Arizona. September 24 At 2:51 a.m. the Andover Township Police Department arrested Michael A. Zayas, 29, of Linden for driving while intoxicated. Patrolman Eric Danielson observed Zayas driving erratically on Route 26. Zaras was stopped the officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. He was administered field sobriety tests and was subsequently taken into custody. Zaras was charged with driving while intoxicated and disregard of marked lanes. He is scheduled to appear in court next month. Members of the Byram and Newton police departments assisted at the scene.
