Andover students to party

Andover - The Andover Township Recreation Committee is sponsoring its annual fall teen dance to be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 18 at the Hillside Park Hall. Andover students in the seventh and eighth grades are invited to attend. For students attending Long Pond School, parental permission slips will be sent home with the students. Student not enrolled in the Andover Regional School System, should call the Recreation Office at 973-383-4280, ext. 234 for a permission slip. Only those students with signed slips will be permitted entrance to the dance. The event will feature a DJ and snack bar. In lieu of an admittance fee or charge for refreshments, the students can donate goods or funds to the local food pantry.
