Animal club raises funds for area causes

NEWTON — Four Legged Friends 4-H Small Animal Club participated in two community service projects over the holiday season. For Thanksgiving the group went food shopping and purchased meals for several families through Project Self-Sufficiency. For Christmas they went shopping for gifts that were donated to the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Intervention Service.
