Attention: basket lovers

Jefferson Township — The high schoo’s class of 2008 will hold a Longaberger® Bingo Fundraiser on Dec. 1. Featured will be an array of Longaberger classic baskets, including the 2006 Christmas Collection and Woven Tradition Pottery. Other prizes will include gift certificates and prizes from local businesses. The response from Jefferson Township merchants is evidenced by signs in the window of many businesses. Monetary donations to help defray costs have already been received, as well as generous gift certificates and products that will be prizes for the evening. Those unable to attend the event can still help, by placing an order with a student. Longaberger is donating 20 percent of the profit on all orders received by Dec. 2. A catalog and order forms are at the high school office .Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the first game called at 7 p.m. Admission is $15 for 20 game boards.
