Auditions set for ‘Christmas Carol'

sussex County - Calling all would-be Scrooges, Tiny Tims, and Bob Cratchett’s: Tri-State Actors Theater will hold Equity and non-Equity auditions for its holiday presentation of A Christmas Carol at the historic Crescent Theater, 74 Main St. Focusing on Charles Dickens’ powerful language, humor and warmth, this adaptation by Christopher Schario has a cast of four men and two women. All actors play several roles. Equity principal auditions are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8. Non-Equity auditions are scheduled for 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10. Actors are requested to bring a picture and resume. Auditioners will read from the script. Rehearsals will begin Nov. 15, and the play will run from Dec. 7 through Dec. 23.
