Blood drive winners get free waterpark admission
| 29 Sep 2011 | 09:07

Vernon - Mountain Creek Waterpark in Vernon donated free tickets for a day to the three winning schools in Community Blood Services’ Academic Blood Challenge. High schools throughout the area hosted blood drives throughout the school year, and prizes were awarded to the top three schools with the most donors. Clifton High School won second place in the challenge. Community Blood Services has facilities in Paramus and Lincoln Park, as well as in Goshen, N.Y., and relies on its high school donors to ensure patients’ needs are met in the communities. During the summer, the blood supply drops. Students and others interested in donating blood this summer can call 201-251-3703 to make an appointment.
