Byram Day seeks participants

Byram —Byram Day organizers are seeking crafters, vendors, contest sponsors and people to participate in contests at this year’s event to be held on Sept. 9. Contests at this year’s event include a photo contest sponsored by MotoPhoto. Contest rules and entry forms can be obtained at Byram MotoPhoto (in Byram Plaza). Photo entries must be submitted to Byram MotoPhoto no later than Wednesday, Sept. 6. Prizes will be awarded at Byram Day by MotoPhoto. There will be a 5K run and a walk-a-thon at 8:30 a.m. rain or shine at CO Johnson Field on Byram Day. There will also be field events and competitions, sponsored by Byram Christian Fellowship, for children and teenagers, beginning after 1 p.m. Sat., Sept. 9 Entertainment for the day includes a country line dance demonstration and lesson by Let’s Dance Again from Rockaway, along with an early evening concert by JAX 7 before fire works begin at dark.
