Byram PD looking for aggressive drivers

    Byram - The Byram Police Department, in conjunction with the N.J. Division of Highway Traffic Safety, has launched the “Speeding/Aggressive Driving Enforcement Campaign” on the Route 206 corridor. The object of the enforcement detail is to make local highways safer by reducing the number of accidents that occur on them due to speeding and aggressive driving by motorists. The campaign began March 8 and will run through March 26. All violations will be strictly enforced including, but not limited to speeding, tailgating, improper passing, improper right on red, failure to signal and driving while intoxicated. Byram police have extra officers working the aggressive driving enforcement detail. All motorists are reminded to drive safely and wear seatbelts.
