Byram Police
January 22 At 8:57 p.m., a Byram police officer observed a vehicle with an obstruction of view traveling on Rote 206 south. While the patrol was following, the vehicle made a lane change and almost struck another vehicle. A motor vehicle stop was initiated and the driver, Frank P. Fishon, 25, of Bushkill, PA, provided a false date of birth to the officer. After Fisnon’s real date of birth was provided to the officer by other passengers of the vehicle, it was discovered that Fishon’s New York driver’s license was suspended. He was then arrested and transported to the station for processing. Fishon was issued summonses for careless driving, driving while suspended and providing false information to a police officer. He was released pending a municipal court date: January 24 At 7:30 p.m., a Byram Township police officer observed a vehicle speeding in the construction zone portion of Route 206. A motor vehicle stop of the vehicle was initiated and it was discovered that the driver, Alysehia Delucca, of Hopatcong, had a suspended driver’s license and a warrant for her arrest out of Parsippany. Delucca was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing where she was found to be in possession of cocaine. Delucca was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, driving while suspended and failure to produce a registration card. Delucca posted bail on the warrant and was released pending a Byram Township Municipal Court date. January 29 At 3:11 a.m., a Byram police officer observed a vehicle exiting a business on Route 206. A license plate check of the vehicle showed the registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license. A motor vehicle stop determined that Dawn M. Bell, 31, of Newton, who was not the registered owner, was driving the vehicle. Bell failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bell was transported to police headquarters where she failed two breath tests. She was charged with D.W.I. and was released to a friend pending a municipal court date. Bell’s vehicle was impounded for 12 hours as required by state law.
