    July 29 Hector L. Vega, Jr., of the Bronx, N.Y., was arrested and charged with aggravated assault following an incident at Tomahawk Lake after police responded to a first aid call. When patrols arrived, Vega was feeling dizzy due to a head injury he sustained while on one of the rides. When Lakeland Emergency Squad arrived, he became combative. Vega bit a member of the emergency squad while being lifted onto a stretcher. He was transported to Newton Memorial Hospital for treatment and placed into custody upon release. He was charged, posted bail and was released pending a Byram Municipal Court date. The Lakeland Emergency Squad member was treated at Newton Hospital for the bite wound and released.
