On Aug. 28, a Byram Twp. Police Officer was operating radar on Rt. 206 and observed a vehicle traveling north at 67 mph in a 35 mph zone. A motor vehicle stop was initiated and during the stop, the officer observed what appeared to be marijuana on the floor of the vehicle. The driver, David C. Boynton Jr. of Hope was arrested for possession of marijuana and transported to the station where he was charged with: Possession of Under 50 g of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle, Speeding and Reckless Driving. He was released pending trial.
