    October 10 At 3:03 a.m., a Byram police officer observed a vehicle traveling north on Route 206 driven half in the lane and half on the shoulder. The vehicle was stopped and after a brief roadside investigation and field sobriety tests the driver, Segundo Valladares, 36 of Newark, was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Valladares was transported to police headquarters where he failed two breath tests. He was processed and charged with failing to maintain his lane of travel, driving while intoxicated and failing to produce his driver’s license. He was released to a friend pending an October Byram Township municipal court date. Valladares’ vehicle was impounded for 12 hours as required by State law.
