February 15 At 9:20 p.m., a Byram police officer observed a 1992 four-door Chevrolet parked in the fire zone in front of ShopRite. The driver, Michael G. Murray of Middletown, N.Y., who currently resides in Andover, was found to be in McDonald’s. A driver’s license check of Murray also showed several outstanding warrants for criminal, motor vehicle and local ordinance offenses. Murray was arrested on the warrants and turned over to the Hopatcong Police Dept. in lieu of bail. He was charged with parking in a fire zone and driving while suspended, and was advised of a mandatory court date in Byram.
