    October 20 At 10:21 p.m., a Byram Township patrol traveling on Lackawanna Drive observed a vehicle with a lighting violation. The officer stopped the vehicle on Route 206. During a brief investigation, the officer found that the driver of the vehicle, Michael David Haskell, 21, of Hopatcong, was in possession of marijuana. Haskell was arrested and during a subsequent search uncovered a glass pipe containing burnt marijuana in his pocket. Haskell’s vehicle was towed and he was then transported to police headquarters for processing, where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a Motor Vehicle, driving while suspended and failure to maintain lamps. Haskell was released pending a municipal court date. October 21 At 2:06 a.m., a Byram police patrol traveling on Route 206 observed a vehicle traveling south with a headlight out. The officer stopped the vehicle on Route 206. After a brief investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Tara L. Gorman, 18, of Stanhope, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Gorman was transported to police headquarters where she failed two breath tests and was charged with underage driving while intoxicated, violation of her provisional driver’s license, and failure to maintain lamps. She was released to a friend pending a Byram Township municipal court date. October 24 At 2:13 a.m., a Byram police received a call about a possible intoxicated driver traveling on Route 206. A patrolman stopped the suspect vehicle on South Shore Road. After a brief investigation and field sobriety tests, the driver, Jennifer A. Federle, 31, of Big Sky, MT, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Federle was transported to police headquarters where she failed two breath tests and was charged with driving while intoxicated, having an open alcoholic beverage container in her Vehicle, failure to keep right and failure to stop.
