Castner's auction to benefit soldiers serving in Iraq
Branchville Castner Auction and Appraisal Service is planning a “Antiques for Iraq War Veterans Auction,” scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2, at Castner’s Gallery, located at 6 Wantage Ave., in Branchville. The auction will benefit local veterans who served in the Iraq war and their families. All proceeds from consignments donated for this auction will be presented to the Branchville Rotary for these veterans. The beneficiaries include Jason Vaughn and Ryan Hughs, both High Point Regional High School Alumi, who are trying to get home for the holidays. The Branchville Rotary are also donating the proceeds made from serving roast beef sandwich lunches at this years Fireman’s parade along with any donations taken that day from the marchers they fed. Names of consignors who donate items will be posted on their items during the auction, unless they prefer to remain anonymous. We will also announce the names of consignors which donate their items on our Web site, unless those individuals prefer to remain anonymous.
