SUSSEX COUNTY-Ambassadors of the Andover-Byram Area Chamber Council, an affiliate of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce recently visited the Byram Dairy Queen on Route 206 to provide the shop owners with information about the chamber. The Andover-Byram Area Chamber Council offers local businesses a way to present a unified voice in town issues, such as parking, transportation, economic development, downtown revitalization, signage, and business development. In turn, the chamber believes, local communities profit from having a viable commerce which helps sustain the local economy. Other Sussex County Chamber councils bringing business and community together are the Branchville-Frankford chapter, the Franklin-Hardyston Area chapter, the Hampton Township Area, Lafayette, Sparta and Sussex-Wantage Area chapter. Business people interested in becoming members are invited to attend a monthly meeting. For more details and confirmation of meeting dates, times and locations, contact the office of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce at 973-579-1811 or send an email to mail@sussexcountychamber.org
