The sun shone down on the 360 new Sussex County Community College graduates as they made their way to the podium for the 18th commencement ceremony held Thursday May 19. Anita Ulesky, the college's vice president of academic affairs, was the keynote speaker at the ceremony, which was held in the school's pavilion. In her closing remarks, Ulesky, who will be retiring after 21 years of service to the college, quoted Maya Angelou, one of her favorite authors: "I've learned that I still have a lot to learn … And that people will forget what you said and what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
