Class plants at school

Mrs. Bastek’s first graders in front of their flower garden. Plants were donated by Principal Steve Rivlin. The Merriam Avenue School children class recently planted flowers in an effort to beautify the school grounds. They studied plants as part of a science unit. The children were assisted by retired teacher and Master Gardener Kathy McDermott.
