Coldwell Banker requests Valentines for Soldiers'
VERNON Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage of Vernon would like to ask individuals throughout the community to put pen in hand and compose Valentines for Soldiers’ in support of the latest effort in their ongoing Letters for Soldiers’ campaign. The Vernon office is requesting cards and letters, which will be packaged and shipped to members of the United States Military serving in Iraq, with arrival scheduled for Valentine’s Day. “We began this campaign, one which our community has so enthusiastically embraced, three years ago with Valentines for Soldiers’, and we now draw our theme from the holiday that started it all,” said Theresa Stellingwerf. “Dedicated members of our office staff are ready to collect and prepare packages of correspondence for shipment overseas, a labor of love that is made possible through the generous support of the public.” For the Valentine’s Day mailing, the Vernon office asks that all cards and letters be addressed Dear Soldier,’ placed in unsealed envelopes and dropped off at the sales office, located at 546 Route 515, by Feb. 2 in order to ensure timely delivery. Because many of the soldiers wish to write back, please remember to add your return address.
