    ‘Man to Man’ support group Sparta - Men diagnosed with prostate cancer or those who simply want to learn more about diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer are invited to take part in the Prostate Cancer “Man to Man” support group at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the Sparta Health and Wellness Center, 89 Sparta Ave. “Man to Man” is an educational and support program offered by Newton Memorial Hospital in conjunction with the American Cancer Society. Members of the prostate cancer task force will also be in attendance to give a survivor’s perspective. Questions and answers will be included. Wives and partners are encouraged to attend. Breast health exams and education will be offered free to women 40 years and older living in Sussex County, N.J., or Pike County, Pa. Newton Memorial Hospital, through the Newton Memeorial Hospital Foundation, offers free mammograms to women who are either without insurance or who do not qualify for the N.J. CEED program. Eligibility for a free mammogram will be determined by a personal physician or a Newton Memorial Hospital physician. This screening is arranged through the Pike County Health Fund.
