Comments welcome on town master plan

    BYRAM n Byram Township residents are invited to a third public meeting on revisions to the Master Plan from 7:30-10 p.m. Tuesday, May 11. Township Planner Paul Gleitz wil present draft sections on transportation, forest protection, commercial densities and downzoning for reduced residential densities. Residents will be asked for comments and questions. The meeting is organized by the Township Environmental Commission and sponsored by the Township Master Plan Project Team, which is assisting Gleitz and consists of members from the Council, Planning Board, Environmental Commission, and open space and recreation committees, as well as several residents. The Master Plan revisions are being funded by a $20,000 grant from the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions and the work is scheduled for completion by June, when a draft plan will go to the Planning Board for formal public hearings, review and adoption.
