Stanhope — Stanhope held their third annual Clean Communities Day this fall, organized by the Stanhope Environmental Commission. Twenty-three volunteers enjoyed a beautiful autumn morning, as they helped clean the paths that the students use to walk to school. Volunteers included members of the Stanhope Environmental Commission, concerned residents, and Stanhope School students. “We had quite few children participate this year,” said Holly Szoke, Environmental Commission member. “Their hard work and enthusiasm made the day even more gratifying. We truly thank those that came out and gave their time and energy to give our students a cleaner, safer way to get to school.”
