Community college advocate honored by county freeholders

The family of the late P. Anthony Thonnerieux was presented a plaque in recognition of P. Anthony Thonnerieux (posthumously) “for his commitment to broaden Sussex County’s educational horizons through his selfless and dedicated efforts to support the establishment of the Sussex County Community College,” at the Sussex County Freeholders Meeting held May 9. Accepting the plaque is Gladys Thonnerieux (center), wife of the late Mr. Thonnerieux; son P. Anthony Thonnerieux, Jr. (right); daughter Pat Thonnerieux (left); and additional other family members and friends.
