Hampton — Condit’s Toyota World of Newton has earned its first step in achieving Toyota Motor Sales’ most coveted award, the Presidents Award. The first step, more accurately known as Toyota’s Parts Management Excellence award, has been awarded to Hal Clawson, Parts Manager. Among other criteria, a Toyota dealership must earn three Excellence awards: Parts Management Excellence, Service Management Excellence and Customer Relations Management Excellence to capture the President’s Award. The Parts Management Excellence award recognizes dealerships that achieve overall excellence in operations in its Parts Departments, contributing to long-term customer satisfaction and retention. Additionally, previously established sales goals for both retail and wholesale Parts had to be met and a percentage of Parts employees had to complete Toyota “Certified” training. Clawson and his team earned a score of 88 out of a possible 100 points and achieved 104 percent of its sales volume objective. This year’s award marks the 11th time Clawson has earned this distinction. He has been with the dealership since it opened in 1994. Clawson, his wife, Shelley, and their daughter are Byram Township residents. Condit’s Toyota World fully anticipates earning the President’s Award again for the eleventh time. The dealership, located on Route 206 North at Route 94. To learn more about Condit’s Toyota World, log on to www.conditstoyota.com.
