County chamber elects new board of trustees
Sussex County - Dr. Bradley Gottfried, 2006 Chairman of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, recently announced two new members to the board of trustees. Jim Furgeson is a radio marketing veteran with more than fifteen years of experience in various markets and is currently the general sales manager and non traditional revenue director for a four-station Clear Channel Radio cluster in New Jersey. From 1998 to 2002, Furgeson was the regional director of marketing for nine Clear Channel stations in Vermont. He spent the first nine years of his career working in New York City as a marketing specialist with stations WNSR, WYNY and WKTU. In 1997, while at WKTU, Furgeson was the recipient of the Billboard Monitor Radio Award for Marketing/Promotion Director of the Year. Lois Pellow has been active in Sussex County for many years serving a wide variety of community organizations including girl scouts, 4-H and as a church leader. She is a graduate of Trenton State College in Special Education and taught at Sparta Elementary School. She is president of the New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show, where she and her husband, Harold, have served for over thirty years. Pellow has spearheaded several major capital and fundraising campaigns for the fair over the years.
