November 27 John B. Bishop, age 41, of Vernon pled guilty to one count of prostitution, a 3rd degree crime. On Jan. 31, 2005 the defendant met the victim who was less than 18 years of age in Essex County and brought her back to Vernon, and solicited her to engage in sexual activity for money. David Orsillo, age 43, of Paterson, was sentenced to two years probation, 15 days S.L.A.P., a two-year loss of driver’s license and $2,119 in fines. He pled guilty on Oct. 16 to the third degree crime of possession of cocaine and to driving while intoxicated. He admitted to possessing a small bag of cocaine on July 7 in Sparta and that he was under the influence of cocaine while he was operating the vehicle. The matter was investigated by Sparta Police Officer John Seville. William Altamura, age 20, of Highland Lakes, pled guilty to third-degree possession of cocaine, the disorderly person offense of false imprisonment, fourth-degree possession of a weapon, third degree burglary, third degree theft, the disorderly persons offense of possession of marijuana and the motor vehicle ticket for unsafe tires. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 19. He admitted to possessing less than a half gram of cocaine in Vemon on Oct. 9, 2005. He admitted that on Sept. 5, 2005 in Vernon, he kept Kristen Wargacki against her will in his bedroom and that he possessed a glove with metal studs. He admitted that he agreed with other individuals to burglarize a home in Vernon on May 17 and to steal drugs from the home. He also admitted that on July 1, he possessed a small amount of marijuana. Vincent Francis, age 40, of Allendale, pled guilty to third-degree possession of methamphetamine. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 19. He admitted to possessing a trace amount of methamphetarnine in Franklin on June 30, 2005. November 28 Stephen J. Orloski, age 22, of Franklin pled guilty to five counts of 4th degree criminal mischief and 12 counts of disorderly persons criminal mischief. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 19. On April 25 in Franklin, he went on a criminal mischief spree, breaking windows of various businesses and cars and smashing mailboxes.
