February 3 Christopher Mackerley, 20, of Hamburg, was sentenced to three years N.J. State Prison. He must serve the full three-year term before being released from custody, and will be subject to parole supervision for an additional three years after his release. Mackerley pleaded guilty on Jan. 11 armed burglary and theft. He was charged after he entered a private residence in Franklin and stole a firearm and other property. February 6 Stephanie Villarreal, 19, of Hamburg, was sentenced to five years probation in drug court, inpatient treatment, $1,205 in fines and a six-month loss of driver’s license. She pleaded guilty on Jan. 17 to possession of heroin. Villareal admitted to possessing two bags of heroin following a motor vehicle stop by Officer Snyder in Franklin on May 28, 2005. Brian Lawlor, 24, of Wantage, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a stolen credit card, joyriding, unlawful use of a credit card and two motor vehicle summonses for driving while suspended. Lawlor admitted that on Nov. 11, 2005, he was in possession of two bags of heroin and a credit card that did not belong to him, following a motor vehicle stop by Sparta Police Officer John Lamon. He also admitted to being in possession of a motor vehicle without the owner’s permission, using a credit card without the owner’s permission and possession of four bags of heroin, following a motor vehicle stop by N.J. State Troopers J. Byra and S. Diehl in Wantage on Dec. 29, 2005. His sentence date is March 24, 2006. Lawrence Wiese, 49, of Vernon pleaded guilty to criminal sexual contact and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance to a minor. During March and April of 2005 Wiese provided cocaine to a female who was under 18 years of age and during this period he had sexual contact with her. The case against Wiese was investigated by Det. Jennifer Williams, of the Sussex County prosecutor’s office, and Det. Scan Talt, of the Vernon police department. February 7 Brian M. Dietz, 22, of Newton, pleaded guilty to terroristic threats. On July 8, 2004, in Vernon, he threatened to kill a lake community security guard after being told by the guard to leave the area and go home. Sentencing is anticipated for March 24. Michelle Cimaglia, 28, of Sussex was indicted and charged with numerous counts of writing bad checks and theft by deception, and with providing false information to law enforcement, unsworn falsification to authorities, fraudulent use of credit cards, card theft and forgery. The case was presented to the grand jury by Assistant Prosecutor Gregory R. Mueller. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next six weeks.
