    May 24 John E. Hall, Jr., age 19, of Sussex, was sentenced to two years probation and two days in the Sussex County Jail. On March 20, Hall pled guilty to Burglary, a third degree crime, resulting from a Feb. 26, 2006, entry of a structure on Ryan Road, Wantage, and Theft, a fourth degree crime. Hall removed a wallet and cash on Feb. 9, 2006, from a residence he was visiting in Sussex Borough. Lawrence Hurley, age 41, of Port Jervis, N.Y., was sentenced to two years probation and must serve five days in the Sheriffs Labor Assistance Program. He must pay restitution in the amount of $1,800. He must pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at his expense. He pled guilty on March 26 to forgery, a third degree crime. On May 12, 2006, in Montague, he was paid with a check in the amount of $200, which he altered to make the amount $2,000 and then cashed the check for that amount. May 25 Corey VanHorn, age 28, of Sussex, was sentenced to two years probation, 90 days Sussex County Jail and restitution. He pled guilty on Dec. 18, 2006, to Burglary, a third degree crime. VanHorn, with another defendant, had burglarized Dow Tire on Route 23 in Wantage Township in January of 2006. May 29 Brandon, age 21, of Vernon, pled guilty to the third degree crime of possession of heroin. He is scheduled for sentencing on July 27. He admitted possessing two bags of heroin in Vernon Township in March. The matter was investigated by Vernon Police Officer DeHardt. Daniel M. Perrucci, age 19, of Hopatcong, pled guilty to aggravated assault, a third degree crime and possession of a weapon, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for July 20. He admitted that he got into a fight with a 20-year-old male outside Quik Check in Hopatcong. After the fight was broken up, Perrucci attempted to cause injury to the 20-year-old by lunging at him with a knife. John A. Petriello, age 20, of Branchville pled guilty to one count of Endangering the Welfare of Minor, a third degree crime. Defendant brought the 14-year-old victim to his residence and engaged in sexual conduct with her. The case against Petriello was investigated by Det. G. Lewis of the New Jersey State Police. Armando Matos, age 40, of Hackettstown, pled guilty to the third degree crime of possession of heroin. He is scheduled for sentencing on July 2. He admitted possessing heroin in Wantage Township on March 23 after he suffered a drug overdose. The matter was investigated by New Jersey State Police Trooper B. Cosh. May 30 James B. Conklin, age 26 of Andover, was sentenced to continue on probation. As a condition of defendant’s probation, he was sentenced to serve 210 days in the Sussex County Jail and to pay $155 in monetary fines and penalties. He pled guilty on April 23 to the fourth degree charge of violating the terms of his Community Supervision For Life and the fourth degree charge of violating the terms of Megan’s Law by failing to provide Andover Township Police Department with his change of address. Conklin, a previously convicted sex offender, was ordered by the court to comply with the terms of Community Supervision for Life. Conklin admitted to the court that between Feb. 23-March 15, he had violated the terms of his Community Supervision for Life by failing to live at his address approved by Parole, by failing to obtain permission from his parole officer to move to a new residence, and by failing to obtain permission from his parole officer to leave the State of New Jersey. Conklin also admitted that during the same time period, he had moved from Andover Township to Wilson, N.C., without first notifying the Andover Township Police Department of his intention to move to a new address.
