June 11 Patrick Reilly, age 29, of Hamburg, pled guilty to the third degree crime of possession of heroin and motor vehicle tickets for driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended. He is scheduled for sentencing on July 23. He admitted driving another individual to Newark in order to obtain heroin. The matter was investigated by Sparta Police Officer Joseph Antonello on April 3. Daniel Danneufelser, age 32, of Greentown, Pa., pled guilty to the third degree crime of possession of heroin, the fourth degree crime of tampering with evidence and motor vehicle tickets for fictitious plates, inoperable lights and driving without a license. He is scheduled for sentencing on July 20. He admitted to possessing a bag of heroin and throwing away a small bag of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop by Sparta Police Officer Frank Schomp on April 21, 2006. Scott R. Sissman, age 26, of Lake Hopatcong, pled guilty to Possession of False Documents, a third degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for July 2007. In January of 2005, Sissman obtained a New Jersey driver’s license in a friend’s name. Sissman used the friend’s six-point identification documents to obtain the license. Shortly thereafter, the MVC’s facial recognition program determined that the license issued in the friend’s name was really issued to Sissman. Joseph C. Kulesa, III, 22, of Newton, pled guilty to burglary, theft and forgery, all third degree crimes, and to a second charge of forgery, a 4lh degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for July 6. Between Feb. 27, 2006 and*November 24, 2006, he took personal checks, a business checking card and credit cards belonging to his father, cashed the checks and used the credit cards to make purchases. Kulesa was represented by Ronald Nicola, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Robert L. Klingenburg. June 12 Robert F. Roe, age 33, of Newton, pled guilty to theft, a fourth degree crime, Sentencing is scheduled for July 27. On April 5, 2006, Roe took several model toy trains belonging to his stepfather, which he later sold to a toy store in Westfield. Israel Garcia, age 25, of Andover, pled guilty to two counts of Assault by Auto within 1,000 feet of a school, a second degree crime, and Possession of False Identification, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for July 26. On Dec. 12, 2006, the defendant’s Isuzu Rodeo crossed the double yellow lines on Route 94 and collided with a Pontiac Sunfire. Two victims in the Sunfire sustained serious injury requiring helicopter transport to Morristown Memorial Hospital. The Sparta Police Department investigated the crash, and it was determined that the defendant was driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol concentration was .12. The defendant did not have a valid driver’s license, but did possess a fictitious resident alien card. As a result of his guilty pleas, the defendant will be exposed to a 10-year state prison sentenc Tomasz Przybojewski, age 22, of Franklin, was sentenced to three years probation, must undergo anger management counseling, have a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, 50 hours of community service, submit a DNA sample and pay fines and costs in the amount of $155. During the evening of Aug. 13, 2006, into the early morning hours of Aug. 14, while caring fora two-month-old child, defendant dropped the child into her crib, which caused internal injuries including a subdural hematoma. June 14 Casey Powers, age 23, of Green Township, pled guilty to theft, a third degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 3. He stole jewelry from Careen McDonald valued at approximately $9,900. June 15 Diane Curto, age 40, of Sussex, was sentenced to two years probation, 50 hours community service and restitution. She pled guilty on April 19, to Theft by Unlawful Taking, a third degree crime. Curto, while an employee of a cleaning service, electronically wired monies from the cleaning service business account into her own personal account without authorization. Miguel A. Matos, age 23, of Sussex Borough, was sentenced to four years in state prison with a requirement that he serve one year before parole eligibility. Matos was given 81 days jail credit. He must pay $8,174.12 restitution to victims of his offenses, $905 in penalties and assessments were also imposed. Michael W. Meyer, age 24, of Oak Ridge was sentenced to 113 days in Sussex County Jail and two years probation. In addition, he must pay restitution in the amount of $55 to Sunrise House. He pled guilty on April 10, to Unlawful Taking of Means of Conveyance, a fourth degree crime. He had admitted to taking a Ford Econoline Van from Sunrise House without their consent. Daniel B. Biermann, age 19, of Andover was sentenced to two years probation. He must serve eight days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility and 30 days in the Sheriffs Labor Assistance Program. He must submit to both a TASC evaluation and a substance abuse evaluation and follow any an all recommendations made for both. He must pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at his expense. He pled guilty on April 16 to theft, a third degree crime. On Aug. 1, 2006 in Andover Township, while visiting a relative, he took jewelry and guns belonging to that relative, admitting to police he took the items and sold them in Newark to buy heroin. James Driesse, II, age 21 of Hamburg, was sentenced to one year probation. As part of his probation he must undergo a psychosexual evaluation and follow the recommendations. He is also required to pay fines and penalties in the amount of $155. He pled guilty on Monday April 16, to a fourth degree charge for a Megan’s Law violation of failure to notify law enforcement that he had moved to a new address. Anna Marie Hughes, age 22, of Franklin, was sentenced to two years probation, $1,130 in monetary penalties and a six month loss of driver’s license. She pled guilty on April 16 to the third degree crime of attempting to defraud the administration of drug test and to the third degree crime of possession of heroin. She admitted that on Oct. 4, 2006, she was found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin in Franklin by members of the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force. She also admitted that on Jan. 9, she attempted to defraud a drug test administered by the probation department by bringing a container of clean urine to her probation department appointment. Eric Huapaya, age 39, of Hopatcong, as sentenced to two years probation, six month loss of driver’s license and $1,205 in fines. He pled guilty on March 12 to the third degree crime of possession of cocaine. He admitted to possessing a small amount of cocaine that was discovered during a brief investigation by Hopatcong Police Officer David Kraus on December 22, 2006. Robert Colquhoun, age 36, of Mt. Pocono, Pa., was sentenced to two years probation, three days credit for jail time served, a substance abuse evaluation and treatment, $1,569 in monetary penalties and a six-month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on April 16 to the third degree crime of possession of MDMA and to driving while intoxicated. He admitted to possessing nine Ecstasy tablets and driving under the influence of Ecstasy when he was stopped by Trooper C. Williams in Byram Township on Feb. 9. June 18 John T. Collins, age 45, of Sussex, pled guilty to credit card theft, a third degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for July 27. On March 22, he admitted to taking credit cards belonging to his father and charging over S200 on them. Robert Winter, age 53, of Glenwood, pled guilty to Theft by Deception, a third degree crime as well as Witness Tampering, a third degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for July 27. He admitted to accepting a down payment of $20 for landscaping services to be provided to a Vernon area resident and did not provide the services. He also admitted to attempting to prevent an individual from All County Heating from providing information to the police in an effort to sign a Complaint for money that was owed to All County Heating. June 19 Aimee Goritski, age 20, of Newton pled guilty to two counts of third degree Burglary and two counts of third degree Theft. Sentencing is scheduled for July 26. Marquis Jackson, age 20, of Newton pled guilty to one count of second degree Burglary, two counts of third degree Theft, one count of third degree Burglary, one count of fourth degree Witness Retaliation and one count of fourth degree Criminal Contempt. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 11. June 20 Joseph Torrisi, age 23 of Roselle, was sentenced to 300 days in County Jail with 84 days credit, two years of probation, TASC evaluation and follow recommendations, must submit a DNA sample and six months loss of drivers license. Fines and cost are in the amount of $1,185 He pled guilty on May 21, to possession of cocaine, a crime of the third degree. Defendant admitted to being in possession of a small amount of crack cocaine when he was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant by Sussex County Sherriff’s Department Detective Michael Yanko on March 27 in Newton. Robert Hughes, age 36, of Hopatcong, pled guilty to the second-degree crime of endangering the welfare of a child. He is scheduled for sentencing on Aug. 3. He admitted that on Jan. 19 in Hopatcong he failed to take steps to prevent two children under the age of 16 from being exposed to drug use by others. The matter was investigated by Hopatcong Police Officer Joseph Magnni. June 21 Jeanne D. Emanuel, age 33, of Montague, pled guilty to theft by deception, a second degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for July 27. Between May 2, 2005 and Dec. 4, 2006, she forged approximately 70 business checks belonging to her sister’s trucking company and wrote them out to cash and her husband’s business. Brandon Troche, age 19, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., pled guilty to Robbery, a second-degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 3. He admitted to punching and biting a security officer who observed Troche shoplifting as he tried to exit the Montague Shop Rite. The security officer suffered a fractured cheekbone and nose.
