March 24 Rita Wildrick, 60, of Andover, pleaded guilty at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton to pattern of misconduct and theft. Wildrick was the collector for the Borough of Ogdensburg. She admitted to stealing approximately $20,000 in tax payments from November 2003 to September 2005. Sentencing is anticipated for May. Sabrina Vivino, 28, of Franklin, was sentenced to three years probation and 180 days in the Sussex County Jail. She pleaded guilty on Feb. 2 to conspiracy to commit theft. She agreed with two other individuals to steal $150 from a patron at a local tavern in Franklin. Edward A. Zuhl, 35, of Hamburg, was sentenced to three years in N.J. State Prison and his driving privileges were suspended for twelve months. He must pay restitution of $1,610.72, total fines and penalties of $655, and submit a DNA sample at his expense. He pleaded guilty on Dec. 19 to theft. On Aug. 20, 2005, in Hardyston, he stole a truck from a former employer and then abandoned the vehicle. A 13-year-old juvenile who pleaded guilty on March 23 to sexual assault was sentenced to three years in the custody of the Juvenile Justice Commission - suspended, three years probation, conditioned upon placement in a residential treatment facility, registration under Megan’s Law, and to submit a DNA sample and have no unsupervised contact with children under the age of 12. March 27 Dustin Jon Storm, 32, of Branchville, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and two counts of resisting arrest. On Oct. 14, 2004, in Stillwater, he threatened to kill Sheriff’s Officer Bauman and his children, and also spat on him while being processed for a motor vehicle violation. On Nov. 27, 2004, he resisted arrest by thrashing about in an effort to stop officers ffrom arresting him for refusing to leave an establishment in Newton. On Oct. 2, 2005, in Byram, he again resisted arrest by first attempting to flee officers attempting to arrest him and then continually attempting to assault the officers once he was detained by them. Scot R. Valle, 34, of Franklin, pleaded guilty to theft. On April 1, 2005, in Franklin, he took a van belonging to an acquaintance of his and never returned it. It was recovered approximately one month later. March 30 A male juvenile consented to a waiver of charges to adult criminal court and then pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for causing significant bodily injury to a juvenile victim, and to possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. He and three other juveniles and one adult drove to a house where, armed with a baseball bat, he struck the victim in the head with the baseball bat, causing a hematoma.
