October 1 At 7:14 p.m., Charles J. Peterson, 58, of Newton, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on County Route 521 in Frankford Township. After further investigation, Peterson was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, possession of an open container of alcohol, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and possession of narcotics in a motor vehicle. After being processed, Peterson was released pending a future court date in Frankford Township. Sheriffs officer John Gray made the arrest assisted by K-9 Officer Christopher Bork and K-9 “Gunny.”
