    June 7 Two local high-school students were arrested at 8:51 p.m. after they were discovered to be in possession of marijuana and narcotics paraphernalia. The arrest took place on Parsons Road in Hampton after Sheriff’s Officer Christopher Bork stopped to check on a vehicle parked on the side of the roadway. The 17-year-old male driver, who resides in Stillwater, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. His sixteen-year-old male passenger, from Hampton, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Both subjects were released to the custody of their parents, pending a future court appearance. Their names were withheld by the Sheriff’s Office because they are juveniles. Officer Bork was assisted by Sheriff’s Officer Samantha Shpiruk, a drug recognition expert.
