Main branch of county library provides new online service Frankford Township — The Sussex County Library now offers digital audio book downloads. Through www.ListenNJNW.com, a new online service, patrons may now check out and download digital audio books anytime, anywhere. Digital audio books are downloadable versions of audio books, similar to what you might find in cassette or CD format. These digital books can be downloaded to your computer and used offline. Some can be transferred to compatible MP3 players or even burned to CD, for use in the car or with any standard CD player. Just install the free software from the library Web site, then browse their collection of fiction, mystery, romance, non-fiction and bestsellers. A valid library card is required to check out titles. Once they have made their selection, patrons can download the audio books directly to their personal computer, transfer them to a compatible MP3 player or burn some titles to CD. When the lending period is over, all digital books are automatically returned, so there are never late fees or trips to the library. Try ListenNJNW.com today.
