Every Bite Counts

NEWTON — Andre's Restaurant presents "Every Bite Counts," a benefit for Katie's House, Inc. The event will be held on Sunday Oct. 23, at Andre's Restaurant, 188 Spring St. in Newton. Passed hors'doeuvres will start at 4 p.m. with a five course dinner presented by local acclaimed chef Andre deWaal. All of the wines for the evening have been donated by Allied Wine and Beverage Group located in Carlstadt. Each of the wines will be expertly paired with chef deWaal's cuisine. Katie’s House is a non-profit organization that provides supportive housing, activities and services to people with developmental disabilities. Katie's House supports a residential home for women who are compatible in age and abilities and is also an approved provider of services and activites by the state. Tickets are $100 per person.
