SUSSEX COUNTY-The Sussex County Fairgrounds will go big to celebrate one of the smallest breed of horses: the pony. On May 21, the New Jersey Pony Breeders and Owners association will hold its annual All Pony Show at the county fairgrounds. This show will be open to ponies of all breeds. Ponies do not have to be New Jersey bred to participate. Breed classes, both in-hand and performance, will be held for Welsh, Hackney, Crossbred, Sportpony, Shetland, Mini and Thelwell. An open in-hand class is also offered for ponies of other breeds. Showmanship for adults and juniors, Walk/Trot Division, Leadline Division, Pony Jumper Division, Adult to Ride Division, Pony Hunter Divisions and Pair Under Saddle are just a few of the classes and divisions offered. New this year for the Junior and Adult Driving Divisions will be timed mirror image cones classes. As well as the fun and ever popular Costume Class will take place at lunch break.
