Fall Fest

The event may be called a Family Fall Festival but those attending Sussex County Community College's autumn celebration were treated to a warm "summer day." The festival, now in its fifth year, is an opportunity to give back to the community, said John Kuntz, athletic director at the school. As coordinator of the event, he praised all the organizations that collaborated towards its success. Community groups were represented, along with local artists and artisans, vendors, and a petting zoo featuring the largest rabbit around and the smallest wambat in the county. Inflatable rides, games, a trackless train, and concession stands kept the kids busy for hours. (Photos by Carol Dunbar)
