Farm Fun Day Care okayed to expand

Andover - Farm Fun Day Care, a state-approved “mini” day-care center for children ages two to six, has been awarded a license upgrade from the state to allow 10 additional enrollments. Formerly a family home provider with a maximum capacity of five children, Farm Fun can now offer child care for up to 15 children at a time. Recent improvements to the center include a white picket fenced in play area and shatter-proof window guards for the indoor play and learning area. Two part-time assistants have been hired to assist with the additional children, as required by the state. Weekly, daily, or hourly care can be arranged. Farm Fun Day Care has been open since March and is an Andover Twp.-approved school-bus stop. “The children here don’t cry when the parent drops them off,” said one parent recently. “They cry when they have to leave.” For information, call 973-579-7382.
