Fire safety in Stanhope

STANHOPE — Stanhope firemen recently visited Our Savior Nursery School to teach children about fire safety. The children learned to stay low to the ground in a smokey room, have a family meeting place outside where the family will gather in case of a fire, to always answer a fireman and tell him where you are in the room, and that if their clothes are on fire to remember to stop, drop, cover your face and roll till the fire is out. The school, celebrating their 40th year of providing preschool education to the community, thanked the Stanhope firemen for coming every year to teach about fire saftey.
