NEWTON-Artwork by Kiana Grant, 10 years old, was chosen to be part of the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey's "Fourth Grade Book Cover Art Exhibit." Grant participated in this contest through her school, St. Joseph Regional School, in Newton. Art work featured in this exhibit was submitted by fourth grade students from throughout New Jersey, who had been invited to create peer-to-peer prevention messages. Grant's artwork was one of the top twenty-five submissions, of over 2,500 entries submitted. Her slogan was "Don't let drugs take the beat out of you." The exhibit was unveiled on June 7, and was on display for two days at the New Jersey State House in Trenton. A reception recognizing the twenty-five top submissions took place at the State House on June 9.
