    July 12 At approximately 8:30 p.m. Franklin Borough Police Department stopped a vehicle for failing observe a stop sign. Further investigation led to the arrest of Neil Miranda, 35, of Stockholm, for being in possession of stolen license plate and for being in possession of a controlled and dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. Miranda was found to be in possession of 23 partially burnt Marijuana cigarettes. He was also in possession of marijuana, and clear bags used for storing Marijuana. Miranda was charged with possession of a controlled and dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of stolen property. He was also charged with numerous motor vehicle summons including failing to stop at a stop sign, careless driving, operating a vehicle while suspended, operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle and having a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court hearing in Franklin Municipal court.
